  • St Oswald's Church Church Street Durham, England, DH1 3DQ United Kingdom (map)

Croeso! Durham University Orchestral Society is delighted to present a programme celebrating Welsh history and its musical tradition with an evening of 'Welsh Tales' hosted in the atmospheric St Oswald's Church. Commemorating the holiday of Santes Dwynwen and the day of the patron saint Dewi Sant, the programme boasts an exciting compilation of famous Welsh repertoire, including works by the renowned composers Gareth Glyn, Arwel Hughes, Mansel Thomas, John Heath and Wales' most famous female composer, Grace Williams. This welsh repertoire is rarely performed, and thus we are incredibly excited to showcase such a programme to you all.
