Harmony Beyond Borders

  • St Oswald's Church Church Street Durham, England, DH1 United Kingdom (map)

Experience an Epiphany of your own at Gospel Choir’s Epiphany Showcase: “Harmony Without Borders” Hear toe-tapping Gospel classics and well-known songs infused with rousing gospel harmonies.

We will be performing a wide-ranging repertoire that spans a variety of genres linked together by strong gospel influences, paying homage to its rich African-American cultural heritage. You will also have the chance to hear the voices of our talented members in resounding clarity through small ensemble performances of individually arranged pieces.  We will also be sharing the work we have been doing throughout this year in educating and spreading awareness around Equality Diversity and Inclusion in Durham and throughout the North East.

From essential Gospel classics like “Rain” and stirring spirituals like “Steal Away” and “The Colour Purple”; to well-known hits invigorated with Gospel flair such as “You Got The Love” and “God’s Plan” you will leave inspired, energised and uplifted by the melodious voices of our large, friendly choir. It’s a night not to be missed, and we hope to see you there!
