Durham Student Music and RT Minds collaborate for a powerful evening of music, unity, and hope as local artists and Durham Student Musicians stand together to support RT Minds’ life‑saving work.

Step inside the beautifully restored Durham Miners Hall for NEVER GIVE UP 2026. a night where music, courage, and community rise together in the face of one of the hardest battles many people ever face. The concert will feature a mixture of local artists and Durham Student Music societies and individuals, who will all join together to support the incredible work of RT Minds. The concert will culminate in a joint performance of Breathing, sending a message of unity and hope, conducted by Durham Student Music President Zac Smith.

RT Minds is a Gilesgate-based mental health charity that uses the Arts and human connection to bring hope to people struggling with mental health issues. Through creative projects, workshops and peer support, they help individuals find meaning, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with life.
