Durham University Department of Music presents a special concert celebrating musical leadership and creativity in Durham – to mark International Women’s Day 2026.

The concert showcases student groups working under outstanding women musical directors and conductors, and it puts into the spotlight new works by Durham student composers.

With a varied programme of genres and styles, the evening features Foot Notes A Cappella, Full Score Barbershop Choir, Bailey Chamber Orchestra, and more.

The concert is free and no advance ticket is required.
