Dunelm Consort and Players' first concert of the academic year is the biggest project that we have ever attempted. Handel's Messiah, originally written for Easter, is a two hour long baroque masterpiece for choir and orchestra that has become the cornerstone of a British Choral Christmas.

With the involvement of an all student soloist line-up, and maestro Daniel Cook as guest conductor, this will be Durham City’s only Messiah performance for the 2023 Christmas season.
