Join DU Classical Ensemble for "Awakening", a journey from winter’s chill to the joy of spring, featuring works by Corelli, Vivaldi, Gluck and culminating with Beethoven’s uplifting Pastoral Symphony.

Join DU Classical Ensemble on March 13th for "Awakening", a concert guiding the listener through the hardships of Winter to the joyful release of Spring. This carefully curated program showcases the incredible variety of music for Chamber Orchestra, challenging expectations along the way. Experience the wintry chill of Corelli’s "Concerto for Christmas Night" and Vivaldi’s stormy "Concerto Grosso in G minor", the drama of Gluck’s "Dance of the Furies", and finally the warmth and breadth of Beethoven’s "Pastoral" Symphony no. 6, a celebration of nature’s renewal.
