Prompted by Robert Sheldon's 'As a Wind from the North', Durham University Concert Band brings you an evening inspired by our roots as a Wind band from the North East!

As the North winds get colder, join the Durham University Concert Band for an eclectic collection of pieces from folk to swing. Featuring Robert Sheldon's - 'As a wind from the North', Rossano Galante's - 'God's country' and Percy Grainger's - 'Irish Tune from County Derry'. We will also bring you John Berry's arrangement of 'Bohemian rhapsody', 'Benny Goodman: The King of swing' and 'A Disney Spectacular'.
