Foot Notes
Foot Notes are close-harmony group of mixed voices, tackling repertoire “from Bach to Beyonce”. Rehearsing once a week, the choir combine a relaxed atmosphere with high quality performances of their signature range of repertoire, which has recently included music from Phillip Stopford, to Walk the Moon and the Spice Girls. On top of their own concerts, the group makes regular appearances at balls, college events, RTProjects’ fantastic annual Never Give Up Charity Concert and outside of Durham at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Full Score are Durham’s premier barbershop group which perform frequently at events around Durham, on top regularly having a presence at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The group enjoys collaborations around the music scene in Durham, particularly in the Michaelmas term, which they have performed regularly with Durham Dynamics in, and also in Epiphany term supporting Northern Lights in the Gala theatre.
They are also active in the competitive A Cappella scene, attending British Association of Barbershop Singers competitions, with one of their quartets, ‘Half Score’, coming 2nd in the Youth Category of Quartetcon 2022.

Northern Lights
National Champions and International finalists Northern Lights are Durham’s flagship competitive acapella group, rehearsing two times a week. They are a collective of passionate singers who perform at all kinds of events, from balls, weddings, fashion shows and corporate events to their own gigs, featuring an annual appearance at the Gala Theatre with support from the other A Cappella groups, and competing in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella.
In addition to their extensive live performance presence, Northern Lights also collaborate regularly with AC Product and have recorded in their ‘Vocal Room’. The group also have multiple EP’s to their name, all of which can be found on YouTube and Spotify.

Durham Dynamics
Durham Dynamics are a large mixed a cappella choir of around 18 members, promoting a no-pressure environment with an emphasis on making joyful and fun music. They are an auditioned choir but there is no necessity to be able to sight read, with two weekly rehearsals to work towards gigs. The group perform both in and out of Durham, with frequent appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and their 2022 show was rated five stars by multiple viewers.
Some previous members have described the group as, 'Amazing friendships and music - what more could you want?', 'The choir's own arrangements are so fun to sing!', 'In the dance of melodies, dynamics roars'.
